Farrah Leni Fawcett was born on 2nd February, 1947
in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ferrah almost died aged only 2, from a hospital operation.
She went to Hollywood on summer vacation from the University of Texas and Austin to earn some cash. Despite promises to her parents she did not go back to her education.
On March 21, 1976, the first appearance of the then known as, Farrah Fawcett-Majors playing the character Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels alongside Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith.
Fawcett married to Lee Majors, star of TV's The Six Million Dollar Man in 1973. They split in 1982. Farrah had a son, Redmond from her romance with Ryan O'Neal.
Fawcett won critical acclaim for her 1983 role in the off-Broadway stage production of the controversial play concerning rape and domestic abuse called Extremities which was written by William Mastrosimone. She replaced Susan Sarandon in the role,
Farrah died of cancer on 25th June 2009
