Big Brother 9 winner Rachel Rice was born in
Torfaen, Wales on 7th March 1984. Rachel was announced as the winner of
the series on 5th September 2008 beating Michael Hughes in the final vote.
Rice has been working in film & TV since an early age though she left acting after being told by Hugh Grant whilst filming Night Train to Venice that her education was more important.
She is currently working as a trainee teacher after completing her BA Joint Hons
Drama and English Degree.
She was second runner up in the 2003 Miss Wales contest, which was won by
Imogen Thomas who also stayed in the Big Brother house.
Rachel Rice is a fitness fanatic and visits her local gym five times a week as well as running 10 miles a week!
