Sam Falson was born on 8 November 1982 in Sydney, Australia
His family moved to Los Angeles when he was 10. His first job was in a McDonald's commercial.
Sam wrote his hit single, Black and Gold whilst working
in a coffee shop in L.A. The track got to number 2 on the UK Singles chart in April 2008.
His stage name was taken from the Australian radio mascot Sammy Sparrown.
